Ron J. Shockey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ron J. Shockey, 77, of Silver Lake, Indiana passed at 7:00 pm, Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born on Dec. 11, 1938 in Grant County, Indiana to Robert and Rosa Jane (Rich) Shockey. He married on June 10, 1956 in Marian, Indiana to Nancy Bradford, she survives. He was a carpenter, building houses around Tippy Lake and North Manchester. He had also worked for Foster Forbes Glass of Marian, Ind. for several years. He was a graduate of Marian High School in 1956 and also from business management school in Hartford, Conn. He enjoyed making toys for the Shriners Hospital for Children and Riley Children's Hospital. The family of Ron would like to say a special thank you for all the care that was given to him by Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice.
