Jay Alan Teel, 65, of Mentone, Indiana passed at 1:40 pm, Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne, Indiana after being hospitalized for 10 days. He was born on Feb. 15, 1952 in Warsaw, Indiana to Edna Marie (Eizinger) and Oliver Clifford Teel. He married on Feb. 8, 1998 in the First Church of God in Rochester, Indiana to Megan (Hermann) Teel, she survives. He was a lifelong mechanic and was a third generation owner/operator of Teel Orchard. Memberships: He was a graduate of Vincennes University. He enjoyed working on and rebuilding cars. Survivors and place of residence: Wife – Megan Teel – Mentone, Ind. Daughters – Tricia Sleeth Teel – Mentone, Ind. Melody Teel – Pierceton, Ind. Chantelle and husband Matthew Bose – Fishers, Ind. Nellie and husband Jeff Stevens – Leesburg, Ind. Elizabeth Teel – Mentone, Ind. Sons - Thomas Teel – Mentone, Ind. Samuel Teel – Mentone, Ind.
