Georgianna Grubbs, 91, of Claypool, Indiana (Beaver Dam Lake) passed at 12:10 pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on Dec. 28, 1925 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Ray and Della Fern (Holloway) Dillingham. Her first marriage was to William Elwin Teel, who passed away Dec. 24, 1960. She then married on Oct. 30, 1964 in Mentone, Indiana to Raymond H. Grubbs, he survives. She worked in years past for Lake Trail Restaurant, Cooper’s Department Store, Teel’s Restaurant, and 25 years for Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation as a custodian and a cook. She also worked part-time at the Kosciusko County Jail. She graduated from Mentone High School. She was a charter member of the Mentone Legion Auxiliary. She was honored as one of the parade Marshals for the Mentone Egg Festival. She was head of the Indiana Girls State for the community and was proud to have been Poppy Champion. She was a member of the Riverview Community Church of Tippecanoe. She loved to watch Tippecanoe Valley sports and enjoyed supporting her family.
