Frank P. Estep

September 16, 1955 - April 11, 2012

Frank P. Estep, 56, 5988 W. Blueheron Lane, Mentone, (Palestine Lake), passed away at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at his residence after being in failing health for three years. Born Sept. 16, 1955, in Williamson, W.V., he was the son of James and Alta (Blankenship) Estep. On July 2, 1983, in the Olive Bethel Church of God in Akron, he married Wanetta Cox, and she survives. Frank worked at Medcast of Warsaw for 21 years. Prior to that he worked for White Metal of Warsaw for 12 years. He moved to Indiana in 1969 coming from Kentucky. Frank graduated from Mentone High School in 1973. He was a devoted and loving family man. Survivors include his wife, Wanetta Estep, of Mentone; two daughters, Rachel and husband Justin Stambaugh, of Mentone, and Kritstie Estep, of Mentone; granddaughter, Alexis; brother, Delmar and wife Mary Alice Estep, of Mentone; two sisters, Norma Wadkins, of Mentone, and Kathy and husband Tud Shuey, of Rochester; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Martha and Floyd Cox, of Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James "Red" Estep. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Rev. Bryan Kratzer and Pastor Thad Stewart officiating. Burial will take place in Mentone Cemetery, Mentone. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Memorial contributions may be made to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, administered by K21 Health Foundation.
