Frank N. Manwaring

Frank N. Manwaring, 82, of Warsaw, Indiana and formerly of Mentone went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family at 10:27 pm, Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on July 30, 1937 in Warsaw, Indiana to the late Charles L. and Ellener E. (Nye) Manwaring. He married on Aug. 14, 1960 in Warsaw, Indiana to Mary Helen Miner, she survives. He was an owner and President of Manwaring Leghorn Farms as well as being on the board of directors of Farmers State Bank which he joined in 1988. Frank was a 1955 graduate of Mentone High School and then furthered his education at Purdue University where he was a part of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was a member of the Dutchtown Brethren Church and the Mentone United Methodist Church. He served as the past director of the United Egg Producers and American Egg Board, past director of Camp Mollenhour, and a past member of the Tippecanoe Lake and Country Club and the Venice Golf and Country Club. He also had been awarded the Indiana State Poultry Association Gold Egg Award. He also served on the Purdue University School of Agriculture Dean Advisory Council. He was also a member of the Mentone Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine of Ft. Wayne where he enjoyed mini bike patrol. He took pleasure in the time he spent golfing, fishing, and being around horses. Survivors and place of residence: Wife – Mary Manwaring – Warsaw, Ind. Daughters – Jennifer Manwaring – Warsaw, Ind. Julie and husband Scott Reed – Warsaw, Ind. Son – Neil Samuel Manwaring – Warsaw, Ind. Grandchildren – Grant Reed, Griffin Reed, and Anna Manwaring, and Zane Manwaring Brother – James L. and wife Jo Manwaring – Warsaw, Ind. Preceded in Death By: Parents A private family service will take place with burial in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.
